Big South

Atlanta, Georgia

April 15th-17th

16 Zoe was thrilled to compete in 16 open for Big South. We woke up bright and early and walked to the convention center all together, and we were the first game of the morning. We competed against A5 16 Gabe, a fast, big team. We lost in 2 sets, and then moved onto our next game. We had another good match for our second one and lost 26-24, and 16-25. We finished out the day with a win, and went 1-2 on the first day. We all left the convention center and had a nice team dinner outside that night.

The next morning we were excited to play again and wanted to better our record from the previous day. We played our first 2 games and won them. We played our last game, and lost. We played at a very fast pace, and had many good plays. We came back from a 0-7 and tied the game at 7-7.

The third and final day of Big South, we went 0-1 in our only game. We finished the tourney 3-4. We were not happy with this record and talked about how we were going to improve on this for the next tournament.

This was not the record we wanted, but we did many notably good things throughout the weekend. We competed with high level teams, we just needed to finish in crucial points.
